About Nemus.One

Grown out of the work outside.

Out of a family farm, out of the woodland, out of the hunting grounds. For years, things that belong in a database were managed in spreadsheets. Nemus. One is the tool we wished for ourselves — and the one we use every day.

Land needs a system of its own.

Farming, forestry and hunting are not business processes. They are the management of land across decades. Every tool we knew tried to squeeze that into an accounting package or a mapping app — and none of them grasped that field, stand and hunting ground concern the same thing.

So Nemus. One is not organised around modules but around the piece of land. A cadastral parcel carries a lease, a soil index, a crop and a hunting ground — and all four belong together because they mean the same ground.

What we hold on to.

The land comes before the data

Every feature is tested against a real piece of land rather than an imagined user. This project's test data is 245 real field boundaries — more than one elegant idea has failed against them.

One figure, one source

The moment the same quantity is calculated in two places, the displays drift apart — and because both look plausible, nobody notices. So there is exactly one calculation per quantity, from the soil index to the monthly price.

The data belongs to the farm

Full export in open formats, at any time. Whoever leaves takes everything: shapefile, CSV, PDF. No lock-in, and no quiet use of farm data for anything else.

The assistant proposes, the human decides

No proposal is applied unasked. What the AI reads out of a contract sits in the form for review — not in the records.

Where it comes from.

Nemus. One comes out of direct work with farms, woodland and hunting grounds in Brandenburg. Not a theoretical product, but a tool that grew out of the daily work.

We know the contracts, the trips to the authorities, the soil analyses and the subsidy applications because we do them ourselves. “Nemus” is Latin for a sacred grove — a word that means land.

Focus

Farming, forestry and hunting in Brandenburg and eastern Germany. The funding rules are maintained for Brandenburg 2026; the map services already span 15 German states.

Approach

Self-funded and independent, with a long horizon. A system that grows with the farm rather than with a funding round.

Operations

Hosted in Germany. Every account sits inside its own data boundary — one farm's parcels, people and photos are technically unreachable from another account.

Let's talk about your farm.
